Obama Officials to Discuss Chicago Student Beating

"President Obama is sending Attorney General Eric Holder and Education Secretary Arne Duncan to Chicago next week to discuss the recent beating death of a 16-year-old honors student.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs says Holder and Duncan will meet Wednesday with school officials, students and residents and talk about school violence.

Earlier this week, Gibbs described as "chilling" a cell phone video showing the fatal beating of Derrion Albert.

Chicago prosecutors have charged four teenagers in the beating of the sophomore honor roll student. Officials say Albert was walking to a bus stop when he got caught up in street fighting."

Jesse Jackson, I'm sick of you attending funerals of innocent victims of gang crimes. You say we need to stop the crime, yet you seem to scream racism everytime one of these gang members are arrested. Jesse, you just can't keep race out of even issues such as this; so sad. Get a life.

Mr President, please use this opportunity to mobilize Jesse and Al and Louis where it counts....in the neighborhoods rather than showing up only where the press is. Save their legacies for them since without your help history will show them to be the loud-mouth, do-nothing, press-hogs they are. It is not too late for them to become useful. The neighborhoods where these criminals kill/maim innocent victims ...send them in there to work with those communities that raise the criminals and teach them how to organize (like you did so well), so they can instill values in their young. Not just in Chicago but everywhere.
