No one is saying they cannot build a mosque, all people are asking is that they respect the memory of 9/11 and don't build it so close to ground zero.
I do not believe that is unreasonable to ask that the location for the mosque be moved elsewhere, the governor of New York, a Democrat, has come out and offered other land for which they could use.
I do not believe any religion should have a church on that hollowed ground, it belongs to those who died in those attacks and to the brave souls who died trying to save those innocent people.
If you build there it will be nothing but problems, problems that could have been avoided.
