The nanny state of Minnesota

A new law went into effect today in the land of 10000 lakes that requires that your child be in a booster seat until age 7 or taller than 4 ft 9.

I don't need the government telling me how to take care of my children. I think they have enough issues themselves, that's just me though.

Does the law say what happens if the child reaches adulthood without exceeding 4 ft 9?

that law has been in place here in California for quite a while - unfortunately, the insanity of California is spreading across the nation. Just wait until they start telling you how often and how much you can water your lawn, and fine you for allowing a little bit of dirt to get into the gutter.
